Many of you will know our Trustee Nick, who is perhaps the most eminent Consultant Upper GI Surgeon in the world (no less) and recently President of AUGIS (Association of Upper GI Surgery).  Nick has finally decided to retire from active service, stepping aside, giving the many rising stars their opportunity to shine.

Whilst there’s not enough room here to accommodate even a summary of his hugely impressive CV, most importantly for us Nick was a founding member of OOSO and tells us he "intends to remain a Trustee of OOSO for as long as he or it exists".

To celebrate and mark this very special occasion, with our sincere thanks, gratitude and deep respect for Nick, we'll be hosting a dinner for him and his lovely partner Fionnula at the Perch Inn, Binsey, Oxford, on Tuesday 30th June from 6:30pm.
