Okay. The similarity may not be too obvious.
- F1 planned twenty-one races - OOSO planned four meetings
- F1 has venues all over the world - OOSO has its events in Oxfordshire
- F1 relies on many highly paid people - OOSO relies on volunteers
But F1, like OOSO, is struggling to get its season started.
Having cancelled the OOSO meeting planned for March we were expecting to get back to normal with the June meeting. That meeting was planned to be held offsite at the Manor Hotel in Weston on the Green. Sadly I have to report that the event will not be taking place. Since this meeting was intended to coincide with the Summer Lunch, the lunch is also not taking place.
