November 2018The Rotary Club of High Wycombe chose OOSO as one of the charities to support over the year.

They hosted a Sporting Lunch on 30 November with two past Rugby Internationals as the guest speakers.

October 2018Bruno wanted to join the other cyclists in 2015 riding from John O'Groats to Land's End. But somebody was needed to look after the patients!

His opportunity arrived this year. On 30 September Bruno ran in the Blenheim Half-Marathon and on 7 October he ran in the Oxford Half-Marathon. Two in one week - both raising money for OOSO.

September 2018Following last year's successful Bar-B-Que in Wytham Woods another event was sponsored by Ann's Munchies and held on 01 Sep..

This year was bigger and better. More raffle prizes, more entertainment for the children, more visitors and more money raised.

A big thank you to everyone involved for the more than £1,400 raised.

June 2018The OOSO Summer Lunch this year returned, to the Cotswold Lodge Hotel on 9 June. Details about the hotel are available by clicking here.

We started to arrive around 12:00 and some people were still lingering after 14:30. There was positive feedback on the day and no mishaps as far as we could tell.

May 2018Spring sprung. The grass was riz. On Friday 25 May, at the Main Entrance of The Churchill Hospital there was a Plant Sale in aid of OOSO.

Matt, Anne, David and Steve had provided plants that were on sale between 10:00 and 16:00.

April 2018On 22 April Louise Letman joined thousands of other runners as she started the London Marathon.

Louise was running on behalf of her father, Roy, who had his oesophagectomy in August 2017.

Unlike the other runners Louise ran to raise money for OOSO.

April 2018On 14 April Liz Ward gave a talk about diet after surgey.

There were also presentations by Gordon Snape and Jim Campbell following their fund raising activities.

March 2018During 2017 the Lodges in Oxfordshire were raising money for Jim Campbell's chosen charity OOSO.

Jim was the Provincial Grand Primo for Oxfordshire and will present a cheque at the OOSO Meeting on 3 March.

The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes was founded in 1822 and has been doing magnificent work ever since. Click here to read more about The Buffs.

February 2018On 3 February the Aspley Guise & Woburn Sands Golf Club held a Burns Night and Gordon Snape nominated OOSO as the sponsored charity..We're extremely grateful both to Gordon and the club members for supporting us in such a generous and pleasureable manner.
