October 2017It was in the last century that Oxford's Oesophageal Team was established. October 1997 to be precise. In those two decades there have been changes and some significant improvements. But there are two constants that epitomise the team's dedication.

October 2017On 8th October this year Nikki Petherick ran the Oxford Half Marathon. It was the furthest that she'd ever run… ever! This time two years ago she couldn’t even run across the road. But she did the couch to 5k plan, and then pushed it a little further and ran a couple of 10ks.

Nikki was running to support OOSO in recognition of the help that OOSO had given to her mother, Elaine.
