December 2019On 7 Dec Atif Kaudri from Maggie's was one of the guest speakers at the OOSO Meeting. His talk covered many of the areas of advice that Maggie's covers.

October 2019On Friday 4 October Michael and Bernadette hosted a dance at the Cowley Workers Social Club.

Another initiative in aid of OOSO and therefore The Churchill Hospital.

September 2019Sep 7. Summer BBQ in Wytham Woods. Burgers, bangers, buns and more all hosted by Ann's Munchies.

August 2019This year OOSO's "big" project was a sponsored walk along part of The Ridgeway that is close to Oxford.

The event was planned from Friday 16 Aug to Monday 19 Aug.

June 2019The Summer Lunch AND the OOSO Quarterly Meeting was held at the Manor Hotel, Weston on the Green.

May 2019Calling all green fingers.

Matt Carter organised another Plant Sale outside the main entrance of The Churchill Hospital on 20 May. Plants were donated by Matt, his brothers, and patients with an interest in gardening.

"Doors opened" at 10:00 although some early birds got the best choice from 09:00.

As usual all proceeds go to OOSO.

April 2019Not for the first time Eileen Naughton completed the London Marathon. She ran to raise money for OOSO and in memory of her mother.

March 2019Presntation Lunch

Following their Sporting :Lunch the Rotary Club of High Wycombe invited Jackie to lunch on 19 March to receive their cheque for £3,500.

This was an excellent result for OOSO and we are extremely grateful to all the members and especially Brian Baker for putting our name "in the hat".
